Very Interested in the practical application of Yoga techniques and modern research in the field of Yoga Therapy from SVYASA Yoga University or similar institutes.
Have deep knowledge of yoga philosophy and teachings based on Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Grehanda Samhitha, Hatha Ratnavali, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and other Classical Yoga texts. Yoga can be practiced from 8 years onwards with simple practices. Children need not be forced into Yoga before the age of 8 though they can do basic practice if they do so voluntarily. Advanced practices with long periods of holding and Pranayamas can be taken up after 18 yrs of age or after the body... ...more
Yoga can be practiced from 8 years onwards with simple practices. Children need not be forced into Yoga before the age of 8 though they can do basic practice if they do so voluntarily. Advanced practices with long periods of holding and Pranayamas can be taken up after 18 yrs of age or after the body has matured and reached its physical growth potential. After 18 any age is good depending upon the physical condition of the individual. Practices could to be customized to ones capabilities under the guidance of a trained teacher since each individual is different.

It helps in reducing the strain the back when you get up straight hence you are asked to roll and get up. If you are rolling side side it can also give good massage to the lateral sides of the body and increase your awareness of the sides of the body.

Yes some students feel like that. You can take a nap or do a longer Savasana after practice it will help.Some students also experience minor body pain, headache and cold like symptoms as the start yoga practices. It is a part of the cleansing process and will soon go with regular practice.

Dynamic yoga practices like Surya Namaskar, asanas like Dhanur,sethu, naukasana etc. & heating pranayamas help in burning the extra calories..
