As a teacher, I want my students to make connection between events and people and institutions. Sometimes the simplest teaching techniques can work the best. But I use charts and diagrams and other visual representations to articulate and understand the problem. At the same time, I want my students to develop a sense of sciencetific empathy with their subject: to make connections with their subjects. I help them acquire social, moral and cultural values.
