Today, yoga is practiced by 300 million people worldwide and is not generally considered a set of religious beliefs but rather a system to foster well-being on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. The original purpose of yoga was self-realization, to reach a state of liberation, but today, increased flexibility is one of the biggest reasons people practice it. It's suitable for all ages and can strengthen us both physically and mentally.

It depends on who you're learning with and your interests. Suppose you want to attend Govt. State exams go fo a regular Carnatic music teacher. Please enquire about that to the teacher.
