Yuva Academy for Learning is a humble attempt by three passionate educators who wish to shatter the way education is perceived by students and institutions.

Personal Info -
I have experience working as the Quantitative Aptitude Faculty for GRE, GMAT, & SAT with Manhattan Review India and have always been working towards the betterment of education since 2013, teaching over 300 students for GRE & GMAT, and many others for School Academics.

I am a man of varied interests. In addition to academics, I am also a trained Carnatic Vocalist and a Keyboardist. You can hold conversations with me over a variety of topics: from politics to sports to almost anything, and it is through teaching that I want to express my gratitude to the amazing teachers I had growing up by providing the current and coming generation of learners with a wonderful learning experience.

What were the motives of British behind partitioning Bengal?

The British's prime policy of "Divide & Rule" was the Partition of Bengal. The British's prime policy of "Divide & Rule" was the Partition of Bengal. Although the British cited administrative convenience as the reason, the British's real intention was to weaken Bengal, which was then the epicentre of Indian Nationalism. 

The divide was ideated on two grounds:

  1. Based on Language, reducing the Bengalis to a minority in Bengal itself.
  2. As the western half became a Hindu majority area, the eastern half became a Muslim majority area.

In the wake of the Swadeshi & Boycott Movement, the partition was annulled by Lord Curzon in 1911. Still, Bihar and Orissa provinces were carved out of the Bengal Province and separate administration areas based on a linguistic criterion.
