As an engineering professor, it is imperative that I would excel in mathematics. What more could be better than teaching young minds mathematics with examples based in day to day engineering and design? Having had a chance to interact with engineering students across semesters, I have always felt that the way in which they have learnt mathematics and science is very vague and unrealistic. I usually spend time on mathematical concepts every now and then, in most of my classes, to fill in the lacuna of understanding of the concepts the students were taught in schools. With the experience I have had with engineering students, I believe I can help to fill this void, at least in a school few students through private tutoring in mathematics and allied courses.
