Vocal music is similar to instrumental music because what we think of in vocal music on a mental level is playing an instrument, so vocal and instrumental are similar.

The difference is that vocal music is focused in human voice creating a sound or a harmony that become a music while the instrumental music focused on instrument that create a sound that can connect with the lyric. Their similarities that they are both create a sound and a music
