The reason behind this is that people get used to their mother tongue so much that when they begin to learn a new language, they tend to collate the words. For example, when the chair is pronounced as chair in English, MTI turns it to be "chairuu".
 
The best way to get rid of it is to listen to phonetic scripts regularly, use google voice to listen to the pronunciation of any particular word.
The other way is to begin to read essential short stories which contain basic English, so that getting used to it may help people to stick to the right way of pronouncing.
The last step will be speaking in English with people who can correct your pronunciation.
