The Who The hit song "Baba O'Riley" is known for one of the most memorable violin solos ever recorded. U2 The song "Sunday Bloody Sunday" features an electric violin played by Steve Wickham. Jethro Tull Eddie Jobson was a violinist and keyboardist who played with Jethro Tull and other progressive rock bands. Kansas Robby Steinhardt was a co-lead singer, violinist, and MC for the rock band Kansas. String Driven Thing A Scottish folk rock band led by Chris and Pauline Adams, who play the electric violin. Other bands that have experimented with string sections, harpsichords, and wind instruments include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Beach Boys. You should always go to the store and check out yourself by playing on different acoustic instruments. Even if they look the same, the sound won't! Play by yourself and pick the one you like.
