I have been a teacher, school counselor, and principal for 20 years. In addition, I have had some experience with tutoring in person and virtually. I have a degree in Communication/Journalism and a Masters in Counseling/Education. I am bilingual in Spanish and, therefore can support these learners. The various roles that I’ve held as an educator, it’s allowed me to develop skills in the areas of leadership within an organization, management, and supervision of employees, communication, and engagement with internal and external members of a community, implementation, and assurance of safety operations and social-emotional learning, recruitment and marketing of school programming to increase enrollment, and supporting teachers and families for student academic progress and success in their learning.
