I am planning to take up German language classes to apply for jobs in Germany. I am a little confused due to the following factors: 1. How effective is online training? 2. I consulted many institutes .each of them offer different duration of course for same certification. I want to know how many hours of classes are required on an average to do a1 certification for a beginner.

Hi Swathi, 1. please keep online training as the last option, after all you are learning a foreign language. To understand the exact pronunciation of the foreign words, to understand the grammar (the most important part in German language) you need face-to-face interaction with the teacher. 2. basically... ...more
Hi Swathi, 1. please keep online training as the last option, after all you are learning a foreign language. To understand the exact pronunciation of the foreign words, to understand the grammar (the most important part in German language) you need face-to-face interaction with the teacher. 2. basically the class hours are depend on the student's capability to grasp the language, but it varies with min. 60 hours to max. 110 hours.
