This is because spellings, punctuation marks and grammatical errors make it a bit difficult. On the other hand while speaking, spelling and punctuation mark errors can be ignored but while writing these cannot be kept aside

Grammar standards must be adhered to considerably more strictly while writing in English than when speaking. For instance, it is obvious from the context that the speaker meant to say "Please lend me your pen" when they said, "Please borrow me your pen" in a conversation.

Written English is harder because it: Follows strict grammar rules. Lacks immediate feedback for corrections. Has no visual cues like tone or gestures. Requires complex vocabulary and formal language. Writing demands precision and clarity without the flexibility of spoken language.

Spoken English can be spoken without much emphasis on Grammar, as long as a person is able to understand what you are trying to speak, that is enough but Written English needs to be with proper punctuation, sentence formation. In simple terms, Written English is little more complex than Spoken.

Written English can be more challenging than spoken English because it requires a different set of skills. When you write, you need to pay attention to spelling, punctuation, grammar rules, and sentence structure, which are not always as crucial in spoken language. Additionally, written English often involves more formal language and complex vocabulary compared to everyday spoken conversations. So, while spoken English focuses on communication and expression, written English demands attention to detail and accuracy in writing.
