Is coaching required for English speaking?

If you can let on your own pace then you may go ahead learning by yourself. If you do not feel confident about your speaking skills, if you need extra attention, if you need ample speaking practice, if you need detailed notes and assignments, if you need corrections of your mistakes, then you are required to join an Online Spoken English Course. Joining classes helps you stay committed to learning.

Everything can be improved with practice and right guidance 

And right guidance can be provided by the right mentor or teacher 

So, coaching and sessions of anything can help you become a better version... So is the case with English.

You will see a vast difference when you attend a language course like this as such courses focus on your speaking skills and vocab + fluency improvement

It depends on your current proficiency level and where you desire to be with your English speaking skills. I see it as 3 different levels:

1>If you are already at a basic level and would like to be able to converse with confidence- then you don't necessarily need coaching- as a lot of the language is being able to immerse oneself into the language as in reading English books, listening and watching media in English, surrounding yourself within an English environment as in seeking firends who speak in English etc- in fact even with coaching the above immersion is necessary otherwise speaking fluently is not realistic. 

2>Now if you don't even have a basic knowledge of English then Coaching is essential as it will get you started.

3> If you are able to converse at a reasonably good level and would like to furthur enhance this to almost speaking as a native speaker would- then again you will benefit with coaching as this will speed up the process 

So as you can see for the above- really depends on where you are and where you would like to be.

It is not compulsory but you will find it little difficult if you practice it at home. But if you take a help from professional person it will become very easy for you. So you can join any class which you can afford so that you can get a guidance from professional trainer. And that will help you speak English fluently and quickly.
