I want to know how to speak English?

First of all, start loving the language from the core of your heart and just not going by the recent trend to show off. Its an ocean of knowledge , so you must first learn to swim. LEARN the basic grammar, enrich your vocab everyday through newspaper, movie subtitle and books offcourse. Start thinking in English and then speak .

1. Start with believing in yourself
2. Listen. Speak. Read. Write. Repeat.

Listen a little. Speak a little. Read a little. Write a little. Then, listen a little more. Speak a little more. Read a little more. Write a little more. Do this, till it becomes a habit.

3. Keep your ears open.

English is everywhere. It’s in online videos, news channels, on radio. So listen and build your vocabulary.

4. Make the mirror your best friend

Speak to it in English, and it will make you feel confident about the way you are speaking.

5. Read full sentences

You learnt Hindi, Tamil or Telugu in full sentences. Then why should learning English be any different. Read full sentences, speak in sentences.

6. Keep calm and do not worry about grammar.

Remember, even those who speak English fluently make grammatical mistakes. But, what they do right, is communicate without worrying about them.

7. Find an English newspaper and learn a word a day

Keep your fear of new English words away.

8. Use the word before it leaves you.

Use the new word immediately to feel confident about it’s usage.

9. Practice. Practice. Practice. Till it makes you perfect.

There are no shortcuts in life. Definitely, no shortcuts to learn English.

First understand why do you want to speak English and at what level of proficiency.  For this also, you have to analyse your present level.  Once you understand your present level, you can create small goals for you to improve your spoken English step by step.

To start with, every language comprises of pronunciation, vocab & grammar. To know english, you need to know, how every character sounds. Need to have good knowledge of Grammar that provided you a base of correct language and, simultaneously, you need to work on your vocab. Start with simple vocab. You might not have higher level of language.... but you must have correct language. For phonetics and grammar, you should take guidence. Incase you need any help, contact us.

First write down - why you want to learn English?  Then, analyse steps to reach there viz., learning grammar, making sentences, ascent neutralisation and then may be public speaking. Thereon, look for a training program which best suits you.  There are somethings you can pick up by going through YouTube tutorials as well - but, for you to learn in a simulated and systematic manner, you should go for a structured training program.  I would recommend you look for a workshop as it's better to learn in a group as one would learn from other co-learner as well.

Hello Krishna ji, to speak any language with a toungue, you must first train your mind to fully understand and respond in it. Which means, you will need to put in time on the learning and reflecting aspect of the speaking process. I strongly advice subscribing to youtube channels which promote spoken english (free lessons), download audio books, carry a pocket dictionary, find a friend who is willing to learn and begin the journey together (having a training partner always makes the learning experience fun and safe), build your vocabulary (learn 5 new words everyday), Read works of fiction (If novels dont work for you, get a set of comics). 

I have been teaching English for 4 years now, everyone has a different learning curve. Take time, have patience and give efforts, you are bound to succeed. :)
