I have real time shop floor working experience in factories as Machine Maintenance Engineer and same Manufacturing Execution system (MES support) experienced too. So please suggest which SAP module will be good to learn for me for future perspective ?

SAP HCM/ SAP Successfactor Instructor

Ys you can opt PP module but it would be great if you also know about SCM. Embedded capacity and detailed planning functionality with SAP S/4HANA 1610.

In my opinion you should go for SAP MM on HANA. Even though there are other modules like PM, WM, PP etc but SAP MM is broad and other modules are linked to this module. To be ahead of curve, you can go for SAP MM on HANA. Currently there is huge market demand for professionals with "SAP MM on HANA" skill.

Yes it is right for you to shift your career to SAP HANA as it is a start of your career. As a technologist I have a lot of faith on the fundamentals which HANA is based on. From marketing point of view SAP has positioned HANA well and it is gaining popularity. I cannot believe that traditional DBs will still be used 10 years from now as we have reached a point where main memory is cheaper and processing power can scale up a lot with parallel processors. Technology companies will leave no stone unturned to transform/create products leveraging on the hardware technologies. And businesses will be quick to implement these products. HANA is one such product that you can safely put your bet on. In the possibility it fails, you have nothing to loose as fundamentals of HANA are no different than any competing product. read less

With you experience it is better if you opt for SAP MM OR PP.If possible try to get hold over MM AND WM. Knowledge in both these modules has a better scope.
