Hello Ravi,
I train lots of professionals and few among them are working on SAP from last 8 to 9 years. The concern they share with me is that SAP is narrowing down in market and leaves very less scope especially for freshers. Competition in the market is huge for ERP products. I would rather recommend you to pursue upskilling for Analytics or Data Science based Profiles.
read lessSAP module gonna play a big role in future..and there is a two important areas..called functional(SAP HR,SF,MM,FICO,SD) and programming(SAP ABAP,BASIS).So its suitable for all graduated people’s.
As your specialization is finance you can choose your career field as SAP FICO
This is the most important module of ERP, Which controls all the financial data. Basically, you're from MBA Finance So that you can easily gain SAP FICO Course.
All I suggest you is consider all the options you have and take your final interest of field into consideration and make a choice.

Hi Ravi, Since you have MBA with finance background switching to Data Science is not an easy task. It needs tonnes of effort to upgrade your skills. Having Finance experience moving into emerging technology like Blockchain, which is creating more significant impacts in Financial Markets. Mainly the Accounting for the Corporate companies, balance sheet, Income statement-making all these data going to maintain using Blockchain Technology. So the combination of Blockchain along with the Finance experience is going to create a unique profile, and you can target Jobs like Business Analyst, Account management using the technology in Banking, Credit rating companies, such jobs adds value to your profile.

Hi, I know that you have an MBA finance and assume your earlier graduation was also into Commerce, and since you would be taking up an SAP course for the first time to enter the ERP market, the only suggestion would be to go for SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling). I also see many people have advised that there are no jobs for freshers, which is not correct. The right way of taking this is that whether a fresher or experienced is offered a job if he knows the subject well at whatever level the candidate presents himself. Even at a fresher's degree, the core of Finance module is expected, the overall R2R (Record to Report) process of Finance is scheduled with table, procedure, transaction, navigation knowledge on that entire cycle. The entry is not tricky always, but still, I see many people are idle. The main reason is they have not gone through a complete course and lack any expertise on their subject. Apart from the issue, the candidate must groom himself or herself with excellent communication skills, presentation skills and tact, analytical skills, overall domain understanding on the end to end process of how Finance processes are conducted in the typical accounting industry, how it integrates with sales and purchase areas. How he or she understands Processes, integration scenarios, testing etc. So the issue is there is no Institute including SAP's own academy that would train you to the level that I wrote here. Its the sole responsibility of the candidate that after attending an excellent end to end SAP FICO course from a classroom training, the candidate has to look out for a Guru who maybe his friend or a relative or whoever who can guide you about how work happens in an SAP Project environment. When you learn these things and showcase this knowledge to the interviewer, there is no way you would be rejected. The interviewer is sure to accept your candidature because you would make his job easy by joining the firm. Your learning the subject with all seriousness and a fear of losing money that you would invest in SAP learning can only save you by instilling fear of failure in you, and that's what can give you success. Rest all others here, who think that just by doing a course in SAP (any module) they will get a job, and I am sorry that no reality. I have spent 23 years in the SAP industry and have been in senior leadership positions and with a grasp of responsibility pronounce this. Please understand that if you think this is a job for you that pays you a salary, then, on the other hand, your work is business for the Organization, and so they are not here for charity. They must be strict enough while deciding to hire people. Thanks.

Success needs focus and expertise. You need to achieve mastery in whatever you choose to do else possible options would start eroding.
