I did PCM with Economics Elective (CBSE) and I was in the same place towards the end of my 12th grade. I decided to pursue a liberal arts degree finally from FLAME. There are other institutions like Symbiosis (Pune) and Ashoka Univerisity (Delhi). The biggest misconception that people had was that a liberal arts degree was necessarily about the arts, which is not true at all. The general format of a liberal arts degree is that your first year is your foundation year where you get to try a lot of different courses across fields from fine arts, economics, business, marketing and advertising, film making, science, mathematics, literature, anthropology etc. At the end of your first year in college you need to declare your specialisation. I ended up doing a major in Economics with a minor in Literary and cultural studies. Liberal arts degrees give you a lot of space and autonomy to decide what you want to do with your future. You get to taste a little bit of everything before deciding what you want to fill your plate up with. Hope this helps! Good luck!
