I have pursued B.Ed from GRIID(Government Rehabilitation Institute For Intellectual Disability)Sector 31-c Chandigarh in special education.Therefore I am appropriately skilled for guiding students who are differently able. I have handled students who have Autism,Down Syndrome,Cerebral Palsy,Learning Disability.
I have participated in almost all the co-curricular activities and attended the National Conference organised by GRIID on the theme Right of Persons with Disabilities Act,2016 and have been a part of NSS camp organised by Chandigarh administration to make Chandigarh accessible for people with disability I have also participated in the recently held camp at Sukhna lake highlighting the various issues and difficulties faced by differently able students and others.
I am an alumni of sacred Heart Senior Secondary school sector 26 from where i did my schooling.I graduated from M.C.M DAV College in Economics Honours and have done my masters in Sociology from Punjab University.
