Light is made up of different components of various wavelength. Or we can say each wavelength has a specific property to be visible and travelling some distance. Light is made up of different components of various wavelength. Or we can say each wavelength has a specific property to be visible and travelling some distance. These properties are fixed for every value of the wavelength of light. These components or wavelength can add up to give different wavelength for a different colour. And where these components of light came from. As atoms are present from the origin of everything. It is the same for light.
We have to fix something to understand the components of light so we named it wavelength.
