"It was a wonderful experience learning basic German under Shilpa. We were a small group and she handled us so nicely.In addition to learning German she also gave some insight into the the Culture,cusine and Manners of G...ermany.The assignments were quite nice and she would stick on to speaking in German after some basic lessons which is really good.I guess I learned more with her than I am learning now ,despite being in Germany.Even though she did not have any certification from her side then,she would help us apply and give the A1 at Goethe zentrum which I guess would be easy for some one who learned German from her.I would recommend her to anybody who wants to learn German from basics(level of school kids) to intermediate/advanced. "Shilpa was more like a mother than being a teacher. She guided me through a phenomenal way on learning German, which I guess I would have never got from anybody else. She has a huge chunk of materials on a lot of recomm...ended formats (ppt,excel,books,dictionaries,thesaurus,movies,series,videos,audios) that are very systematic, organised and more importantly customized for different learning expertise. I had a constraint from myself to complete the course in less than 1 month which usually takes over 2 months. If not for her, I would not have made it through A1. Not just that, I scored an 80% marks on the exam at Goethe Institut, Bangalore. She made herself available for me at the evenings so that we could sit together and prepare owing to the time crunch I was put into. I was really fortunate to have such individual attention. She made me feel like family too, I got close with Satish (her husband) and her daughter. They gave me a boost whenever I felt, I was not coping enough. In conclusion, she is dynamic, prolific, social, profound and systematic in her language coaching. I would personally recommend Shilpa, to be an ideal choice to equip oneself with the best of German. "The average teacher explains complexity; the gifted teacher reveals simplicity. That explains learning German with Shilpa. She's very generous, friendly, focused more on concept and basics and believes in imparting know...ledge through simplicity. She enlightened me about the perks of learning German as a language. Learning German was my interest, and she became a catalyst in the process. I am very much thankful for that. Because of her, I could score 91%. She has a vast collection of materials, audios, presentations for quick and simple learning and a very well structured activity plans in class for learning with fun. We were also provided with extra classes whenever needed , where she would make sure , not a single student have a slightest cloud of doubt in their minds. An excellent person and an excellent teacher I have come across. " more
