Teaching Experience in detail in Class 9 Tuition

Everybody have their own ways of understanding things. Therefore one must first need to learn what the student is comfortable with, whether he understands in written form, or teaching orally, or a mix of both. Some children are fast learners, but can sometimes miss important facts and information. Therefore, my experience has told me to first check the understanding level and devising out ways to teach those students. My stint with teaching started when my neighbor kid( from class 8th) asked me if I could teach her because she came to know from her mother that I score good marks in my class. And thereafter after she got two of her friends also, because she liked the way I taught her. And then her friend's younger brother( from class IV) also started coming. And what did I learn from them? The fact that education system keeps changing. That students from different standards require different ways of teaching. And the fact that a teacher should never have assumptions regarding things like, "oh, he must already be knowing about this, why should I explain further?". Nor the fact that a particular student may take more efforts and time to understand something because each person is different. The subjects that I love the most to teach are Science and Maths because they stimulate the brain to think and finding out solutions to problems.
