IdentityI am a Teach For India fellow, 2016 Cohort. I teach a bunch of inspiring 70 8th graders in a government school in Dharavi, Mumbai.
I am a free spirited person who fondly values the present and believes in her thoughts delightfully. Studying MPP was an accident of chance but it was a serendipitous one. I found public policy not only empowering but also a refuge from the problems which I had often thought about and hoped I could help solve. I took up the Teach For India fellowship to ensure that I remain grounded in the reality of the people (to analyse the work of public policy and its effect at the grassroots level) while contributing to help their causes at the same time. My specific interests are in the fields of Women and Development, Child Rights and Education, Corporate Social Responsibility and Tourism. I am curiously interested in understanding human behaviour and thoughts and I would love to learn more about modern world history and political philosophies.
