My question is how to define age calculation in excel by formula?

Hi Binayak,
In Excel, we have datedif(Start date, Date of Birth, format code) function.
Format code are as follow :
"y" -> year differance
"ym" -> year in month
"md" -> month in day
complete syntax:
=datedif(Start date,Date of Birth, "y")&" years "&datedif(Start date,Date of Birth, "ym")&" months&datedif(Start date,Date of Birth, "md")&" days".

You can enter your date of birth in one column, and current date in another, then you can subtract to get the answer as age.
Also, there are functions
| 1/1/2001 | 1/1/2003 | =DATEDIF(Start_date,End_date,"Y") |
With this you can easily find age in years, you can feed "D" or "M" as well.

for this we can use Yearfrac() function.
Syntax =Yearfrac(Startdate,Enddate,Basis)
Basis 1 Actual/actual -Taking actual no. of days in year
2 Actual/360 Considering 360 days / year
3 Actual/365 considering 365 days /year
