As of my last update in April 2023, in Microsoft Excel for Office 365 and Excel 2019, each worksheet contains: - **1,048,576 rows**- **16,384 columns** (column XFD is the last column) This size is consistent across recent versions of Excel, starting from Excel 2007. It's important to note that while Excel can technically handle over a million rows and more than sixteen thousand columns, working with datasets near these limits can significantly impact performance, depending on the system's hardware specifications.
