"He taught me in class 9 and 10. I was below average student when i joined him. Only because of his inspiration i cracked IIT-JEE 2010 and joined Electronics Engineering Department, IIT (BHU), Varanasi for my B.Tech Degree. His way is awesome, student don't have to write the notes when he teaches. He will provide material but student need to write down as home work. "

The emf of a cell is always greater than its terminal voltage. Why? Give reason.

The terminal voltage is measured in closed circuit (while current is drawn) and in this stage internal resistance of cell becomes active which lowers the potential difference across the terminals, The emf is measured when circuit is open (current is not drawn) and hence internal resistance remains inactive.... ...more
