I have always dreamed about teaching. But, due to academics of both B. Sc. and M Sc. i never got time and scope to teach. But, recently i started teaching my maid servants daughter. I do it for her free of cost. What makes me happy is to see the smile of satisfaction on her face after i teach her. She has even told other girls of her "bosti" about me. I am her favourite now. But, that is not what i want. I do whatever is in my capibility.
My teaching style basically goes into the root of the chapter first so that kids have a basic knowledge about it. I take test after each chapter so that they get thorough about it. I do not have any problem in making things clear to my students but equivalently they have to be little attentive in my classes.
My favourite topic have always been biology where i got not less than 85 in school and pursued my higher studies particularly in plant oriented science that is Botany. i obtained first class in C.U and have been class topper in my M. Sc., Bangalore.
I have always got my inspiration of teaching from my own teachers. I believe instead of using hard words it is better to teach students my making the explanation as simple as possible. I use colour pens, and if possible i cant also show them videos related to it.
Perhaps i work hard more than my students. As i said i teach the daughter of my maid, i usually tell her to leave her books with me and i spend an entire day reading it so that i can add something to it and atleast make sure i do not teach her anything wrong.Even sometimes i get to learn new things by studying and teaching helps me a lot in this.
I have gained a lot of accomplishments like being the best speaker, presenting research papers in other colleges and many more.
So, i would like my students to be equally hard working. I will be strict but more like a friend to them. Since, i am teaching in home i will prefer to have girl students more from classes VI-X. Boy students till class V is not a problem. I am enough punctual, i want the same from my students. In case of my absence it will informed prehand.
