IdentityI'm Pratik, a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon currently based out of Chennai. I have completed my post-grad from VIT on 2017, and have about 3 years of Software development experience in a highly scaled and performance oriented environment where keeping up to date with latest IT technologies is a must for survival.
I used to tutor 8-12th standard students on Computer Science (primarily focusing on coding) in Kolkata during my under-grad and then a few grad students while post-graduating as well.
I've decided to take up the mantle again and start conducting online 1:1 classes. I usually don't take strict approach while teaching, rather try to solve the problem along with the students bearing a similar mindset so that they don't feel pressurized much and grow a genuine knack for the subject.
MO: I try to get along with the students for fluid interaction. I plan and distribute the whole course based on the syllabus, and keep sufficient buffer time for adjustments and improvements. I also periodically conduct exams, then work backwards from the obtained results. At the end of the day, my goal is to make the student really like the subject from core so that the learning curve is always climbing.
PS: If the requirement is just enhancing your coding skills or data structures (or some specific aspect of CS), I'm very much up for it as well.
