The microprocessor is more powerful in processing the information, and it needs other components to work we can take e.g. of laptop it has a microprocessor and other elements like ram hard disk i/o parts.
The microcontroller is simple and has all its components inbuilt like ram and i/o ports. But processing power is less of microcontroller we can take e.g. of the washing machine.
