Overview

I am a recent MSc graduate in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Wageningen University, Netherlands. Before MSc, I also completed my B.tech from India's premier educational institution IIT Delhi. Before, then studied for JEE (joint Entrance Examination) at Kota, with a strong aptitude and interest in Mathematics. I, as a person has experienced life in a way that is more dynamic and eye-opening at every moment. Starting from my rural and cultural background in Western Madhya Pradesh to a very depressing town of Kota to a vibrant cosmopolitan Delhi-NCR, my journey goes beyond convention. Studying in Netherlands, I was exposed to many such questions rooted in cross-cultural paradigms and reductionist education. My purpose and experience with home tutoring is based on my reflections of my intricate past inundated with trials and tribulations. While struggling with my own educational experience, I have taught about hundred students (class 1st to 12th) in a time span of 5 years, who came from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, local communities and NGOs. There is no certificate which could explain the joy of teaching these children, who saw learning as fun and not pressure. Besides Mathematics, I have a lot of teaching enthusiasm for Hindi language, History and other social science subjects. For all these subjects, I don’t adapt any universal tutoring approach as I want to be context and student specific, focusing on his / her individual needs and capacities.
