This question if you won't solve this directly, it seems not to be possible. So we use the alternative option of multiple functions where the second function we assume is one as a constant. Now Integral of two functions can be done by UV formula Here U is the first function and V is the second function. So how can we decide the 1st & 2nd function? There is a rule ILATE order of function I=inverse function, L=Logarthimic, A=Algebric function, T=trignometric function, Exponential function. Our question is here is only one function we can write it as logx is logarithmic. In ILATE logarithmic comes first and algebraic comes second. Let's apply the formula. U = logx and V =1. Apply UV rule you will get an answer as xlogx - x +c.
