Dear Anirban, This Question of Introducing Yourself is the most common but most crucial question as it is the "ice breaker" question , though it may sound to be very simple but often the answer itself determines the further questions or the flow of Interview , since an Interview is a Mostly Formal Discussion between the Interviewer(s) and the Interview and every person has his/her expectations as a human which differs from the others , there is no Thumb Rule to answer this question however one has to be crisp, clear and precise while answering , while there is No Proven Best way to my knowledge , yet it has been observed that if one starts with his/her name . and covers briefly his/her interests/ strengths and family and the purpose .
