Preparation for interview depends on the kind of Job that you apply for, whether it is changing a job, or whether you are fresher, the question will be asked depending on your experience. You need to prepare on technical aspects wherein you should be able to convince the company about your skill set pertaining to the Job Requirement. You also need to be prepared on Personal aspects, if the job demands excessive travelling, or change in place etc; etc. Both might happen in one round or there shall be two rounds, they can be telephonic also, or there shall also be an aptitude test. At an interview, you are also some times judges by looks - personal grooming, your Body Language and the way you answer. If you have a job in a team, then questions pertaining to whether you are team player shall be asked directly or indirectly. If you apply for a Marketing Position, questions regarding your achievement of Sales targets will be asked. Hence the question will depend on the Job profile that you apply for. For Preparation - you need to have good Technical knowledge, be a Team Player, Dress Well, Maintain the quorum and etiquette, be confident, calm and composed and not nervous. And answer the question correctly, if you are not sure of the question, try and clarify before answering. Your Question is an open ended one, hence there are lots of things that can be said, but I hope my answer has provided some Direction. read less
