Interview Question:
WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST WEAKNESS?
Perhaps I have to use the past tense to answer this question because my greatest weakness as a student WAS to prioritise the tasks in hand. But I have managed to successfully overcome this weakness during my studies.
While I was pursuing graduation at college, I used to visit a small restaurant during weekends. If a customer walks in and orders for an egg sandwich and the shop owner is busy preparing food for other customers, then he would take out an egg and keep it on the left corner of the table. Once he is done with other orders, he could remember that the egg sandwich is yet to be prepared because he can see the egg lying on the table. Similarly, he keeps aside a potato, a tomato and so on, according to the orders.
This simple technique motivated me to learn in detail about this management theory, and I have started practising this procedure ever since.
Luckily, I have had an opportunity to learn as to how to convert my weakness into strength, and I will continue to learn such new techniques in future also.
