Age is sometimes not a barrier to learning an Art like music and singing. It's all your willpower. Whenever you get serious within yourself, get the time and know with total dedication and resolve, you are blessed with the tuned voice. You can continue and make a career after learning according to your requirements and measures of music, and it is a never-ending process.

Your thought of making your daughter learn piano at this age is entirely right. But if she is not able to do the classes and learn piano right now, she can learn till she is doing her schooling. When she gets 15 or 16, i.e., she reaches to class 10th, mentally she will be free to learn piano and concentrate on it so that while completing her schooling she can also decide whether she wants to continue and include it in her plans to or not.

As Hindustani vocal music, Carnatic vocal music exams are also conducted by several institutions, academies and private schools or centres which are affiliated through the govt. Grade exams are best to give from a beginner. But as you want to know the best institution for exams you can opt for Shankar Mahadevan Academy or Bridge Academy or Gangubai Hangal Institue, Hubli also conducts exams it's the best and recognizing.
