I want to know how much minimum time is required to prepare for International English Language Testing System to get a band of 7.5. My English is average though I can write and talk in English quite confidently.

IELTS is not a Test which will require you to be an Expert in the Language, you'd need to learn how to tackle the test and time it well, 7.5 is doable provided you put in the required hours and understand how the test is designed and how you must attempt it, the test itself is designed to know if you can really communicate in the real-world scenarios. So I would suggest you spend around a month on honing your reading and writing skills. Please know the format for writing tasks well. So a month if you can give 2 hrs each day thats enough. I had one of my students from Hyderabad who came to me for writing classes only that also writing task: 1.initially she scored band 6 but I gave her classes for just 24 hrs and she scored 7.5 read less
