It is all about a structured practice rather than accents and all that. There are, primarily, 3 types of accents you will hear, American, British and Australian. Normally, anybody with a modicum of exposure to the English language, should not have nuch problem.
Now, the strategy ! Start with only sections 1 and 2, do not even try the other 2. Once you have mastered these sections, or at least you are comfortable and getting at least over 15 question correct out of 20. move to section 3 and then gradually to the last section.
Many will tell you that sections 3 and 4 are more difficult, but my understanding and experience is that it is the types of questions which is the problem. So, do a proper SWOT analysis, and solve the proble. For example, quite often maps and questions thereof are found to be difficult, so spen more time on these and other difficult ones accordingly.
