IBPS PO is tougher in reasoning, quant, and competition.

 

IBPS SO is tougher in professional knowledge (IT, Law, HR, etc.).

 

IBPS SO has no interview (except for Scale-II & III), while IBPS PO has an interview.

 

IBPS PO has more vacancies, making selection relatively easier.

 

 

Overall: IBPS SO is harder if your subject knowledge is weak, otherwise IBPS PO is tougher due to high co

mpetition.
