I would like to start tuitions at home for 6th to 9th maths and science. Can someone help? 

Take a printout and stick it in front of your house so that everyone can see it. Also post on Facebook, Urban Pro, YouTube etc.Make more publicity so that everyone comes to know about you, and there would be more chances of getting many students in your area.

Verify whether (1,-2)is a solution of 2x-3y =8 or not

 

Yes it is solution and here goes the explanation.. (1,-2) is solution of 2x-3y=8 Substitute 1 in place of x and -2 in place of y 2(1)-3(-2)=2x1-(-6) -x- is +(minus into minus is plus) So 2+6=8 Hence (1,-2) is solution for 2x-3y=8
