Identity- As an educator, I aim at comprehensive development of my students of course with academic knowledge and proficiency which I suppose would be my primary job.
- To accomplish the overall development of my students, I have designed few courses that I wish to teach them apart from their syllabus. Firstly, I want to enhance the concentration levels as well as to strengthen the willpower of students. This will be done through meditation. I plan to start each of my lectures with few minutes of meditation. The next module covers a comprehensive communication skill course, This will allow them to crack their interviews and to be efficient individuals in maintaining a healthy social life. The last module is a course from health psychology that illuminates students about what to eat and skip, went to eat and of course physical exercises to follow up with.
- Coming on to my teaching methodology I strictly follow blooms taxonomy which emphasises on application of knowledge. In addition, I will use theories of memory in psychology that will aid students to remember in a better way so that they can increase their grades. I prefer to use a full range of multimedia while explaining the concepts, again psychology plays its part, as using multimedia enhances the quality of perception.
