Swar is nothing but a musical note. There are seven Standard Notes in Indian Classical Music as given below. We call these notes as "Shuddha Swar". Shuddha Swar: Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni. They are also called Shadja, Rishabh, Gandhar, Madhyam, Pancham, Dhaivat and Nishad respectively.

I would suggest going for an acoustic guitar(the wooden one) within the range of 5-7k, as it will be enough for you to understand your interests and type of music you enjoy playing. Once you have a pretty good foundation and understanding about the guitar, then go for a higher range semi-acoustic (same wooden one but can be connected to an amplifier) or an electric guitar.
