Overview

Having completed my BA (Honours) Economics from Concordia University, Canada and my MBA(Spec in HR) from McGill UNiversity, Canada, I started my career in corporate HR. After moving to China, I was certified as an English Trainer from Berlitz School of English, HQ in New Jersey, and started teaching English to corporate clients. I was later appointed as Instructional Supervisor, where I focused on meeting clients, understanding their needs and designing an appropriate training program for them, along with recruiting and training new teachers. After we relocated back to India, I pursued Communications and Soft SKills Training to various companies and also signed up as a Personality Development Trainer with the FRankFinn Institute of Air Hostess Training. More recently, we have moved to Chennai, where I am working as Communication Skills and Aviation Trainer with the Remo International Institiute of Aviation. I was recently awarded the trophy for "Best Trainer" by the institute. Not only have I given training to the students here, but I have also compiled manuals for them. We will be moving to Gurgaon by the second week of June and I hope to be able to find suitable employment there.

Hi ma'am.. I have completed M.sc. in chemistry. I've been working since two years. I unable to give enough support to my family financially with my current salary. I am interested in learning any foreign language. Will it help me out in getting job as translator?? I heard that it helps better in getting good pay, as well as its my interest too! Please tell me whether I can get a translator job if i learn foreign language ?

Hi there, you can certainly go in for a foreign language to augment your income and broaden your skills. However, I would strongly recommend you first perfect your English and only then go in for language courses. French and German and even Spanish are highly in demand nowadays. So is Mandarin, since China is one of the world's largest economies. But, do please strengthen your English first, search for prospective jobs as a translator and figure out which one is the most lucrative. Good luck!!!
