Age and gender also play a role, as men and older people tend to be less flexible than young people and women. Through right breathing and stretching exercises you can make your body flexible. Many factors can contribute to a less-than-bendy body, from genetics to the weather outside. Age and gender also play a role, as men and older people tend to be less flexible than young people and women. Through right breathing and stretching exercises you can make your body flexible. But one has to be very sure of not over doing it at the beginning as it can lead to muscle injuries. Also it is highly recommended to start under expert guidance .

What is mudra? How we benefit from it?

n yoga, mudr?s are used in conjunction with pranayama (yogic breathing exercises), generally while seated in Padmasana, Sukhasana or Vajrasana pose, to stimulate different parts of the body and mind, and to affect the flow of prana in the body.
