I am assuming you want to teach students at home and not online. In that case, you have several ways to get the first few students. You can ask your neighbours if they want someone to give tuition to their child. If you got your first student, then it would be great and boost your confidence even in an area where you barely know someone. You can advertise yourself using some hoardings, posters and also online like urbanpro and next tutor. You should post your ad on OLX and Quicker; it will help you to generate some traffic. It is not easy to start tuition because people need a reason to choose you over other tutors and maybe you have to start tuition by lowering your price to beat the competition. Hope it helped.
