My son is an autistic child. He has good learning capabilities and is now in 5th standard in Euro school. but from few days he is not taking interest in his studies and also not performing well at school exams. even he learns everything but dont give the right answers at the time of exam. What to do? I need a tutor for him who can come and teach him at home only.

Madam, As I am also a parent of 15 year old autism boy, I am also facing this issue. My son has very good in drawings and his memory is very sharp. Hence we started to give instruction in the form of drawing/photos. Some times he has to be prompted for answers. then he immediately tell/write. However... ...more

Hence we started to give instruction in the form of drawing/photos. Some times he has to be prompted for answers. then he immediately tell/write. However it is all depends on his mode swing. First it should be checked what type of learning ability he has like some children has good learning capacity through audios, some may be through videos/photos and some may have interest in writing . Accordingly we have to engage and motivate them to do their best.
