Stepping back with your left foot 

Shifting your weight to your right foot 

Sidestepping to the left with your left foot

Posture

Jive posture includes keeping your feet together with your heels touching and your toes slightly out. You should also bend your knees a little, bring your upper body forward, and stretch your spine.
