Dance Classes in India - Find dance classes of all

Right from early civilization, music and dance have been part of human lives. The rhythm runs through the body and all it takes to master it in this new age, is a good teacher. And to find one institute or dance course that suits you is a tough job, especially if you have no idea where to look for or whom to ask.

People are not looking just for classical dance classes, but also other kinds of dance forms that will give more exposure. They want to try something new such as salsa, samba, hip-hop, free style, ballet, contemporary, etc. There are plenty of dance classes in India, but their reach to the common public is very poor. The reasons are:
  • The trainers and teachers either do not advertise or don’t know how to make their classes and courses reach potential user targets. They depend solely on word of mouth, flyers, or newspaper advertisements. The younger generation is the larger chunk of the pie that will actually be looking for such dance classes in India. For them the internet is the whole universe. Thus, missing out on advertising the dance classes on internet is one major mistake that most course providers make.
  • People who want to join dance classes are very shrewd and will not fall for an ad that says, ‘All kinds of western and classical dance taught here! Low fee!! Personal attention to each student guaranteed!!!’ They want proof of quality in the form of reviews, feedbacks and testimonials. Ads of this sort are just big turn offs. Dance courses cost lot of money and any learner would want his or her money to go into something worthwhile.
  • The most important reason for the poor reach is the lack of websites that actually address these issues.
This is where ThinkVidya.com comes into play. ThinkVidya.com is not yet another website of directory listings of classes in India and courses or a yellow page service for learning art forms, but a bridge that fills the gap between the trainers looking for ardent students and the learners looking for good teachers. It rather brings together the Haves and the Have-nots, in the literal sense. ThinkVidya.com is an information portal on tutors, teachers, trainers, institutes, classes and courses for more than 600 different categories of courses that includes performing arts, cooking, yoga, computers, music, photography, academic tuitions, etc. Presently, there are teachers registered in ThinkVidya.com offering more than 10 different dance forms spreading over 17 cities in India, including 8 metros. On the whole, more than 5000 tutors and trainers are registered with the website. Every trainer and every course is crosschecked rigorously for genuineness by various methods. This ensures that the users get authentic information. This is what has build ThinkVidya.com's credibility as an all-in-one portal. If you have the thirst to learn and have had a rough journey looking for the right course and the right tutor, the best place to quench that thirst is to stop by Thinkvidya.com and find a pleasant end to your search. I am talking about the classical dance forms. But today I hardly find any parent or any student so keen to put priority of dance over studies. Dance can be a very good form of relaxation but lack of trainers or wherewithal to conduct dance classes is a serious impediment. Tell me honestly parents, once your child reaches class V and above, do you really think they have so much time to devote for dance ? Schools also do not show any inclination to conduct dance classes on their premises though it is a good option. Frankly, one feels sorry for our future generation because neither can they learn nor can they depend on someone qualified enough to teach them. «less
