Use of statistics in historical times is clear from the history of state administration .In the historical days the king collected statistics regarding the number ofindividualsin each family their incomenumberof individuals whoarephysicallygood such datawereusedfor the purpose of taxation recruitmentofment to the army etc. Inthedaytoday administration the present day governments depend upon statisti toalargeextend since the planning of resources  allocation of funds for various welfare measures production planning of exportandimport policies and other decisions pre made only on the basis of statisticscollected .The long-term  economic planning social welfare measures are decided only by using the statistics collected from various fields .The govermentisthe biggest collector and user of statistical data proper :perspective planning and economic development ina country isonthe basis of thepresentcondition which is exhibited onlythestatisticaldatacollected business and commerce arethe fields wherestatisticsos used to a large extent in many commercial problems and solutions are obtained bytheuseof statistical methods the decision regarding the production price fixationare madeonthestudyofthedataonmarket condition demand pattern and so on costminimizationis an important problem in industries to minimise the cost thevariousfactorsof production should betakeninto account by proper combination of these factors the cost canbeminimized

Statistics is a branch of mathematics in which we deals with the data of previous observations so that we can get the idea about the event or observations.

It is very useful for our daily life as we analyse the report depending upon the observation of previous data.

For example,we use the previous record of the share of any company or organization to analyse the stats of its present growth of the share.
