Actually it's not imagination but it's going to be future of our self as we all know that oil is non renewable source of energy. Most of the countries transform from non renewable to renewable sources of energy.

We as a common people may not affect as much as industries affect the most.

Mainly there are two sources which widely use if we consider renewable energy sources: first is a solar system and second is a wind energy.

As of now if we look at both the options, than they  want more space and big batteries to store the energy and also more money. Many countries putting more emphasis on using these non renewable sources and spending more money on research and development just to ensure that the smooth transformation from non renewable to renewable sources.

If oil supplies get exhausted then our lifestyle will be severely affected in the manner given below
(i) We will go to school / office / home by walking or on a bicycle or by a battery operated vehicle.
(ii) Transportation of materials and goods will be done by bullock carts, horse carts or battery operated trucks whose batteries are charged by solar energy.
(iii) All work will slow down to the pace which was common in the 18th and lfjfh centuries.

In today's generation people are utilising the oil resources at a rapid and fast speed, due to which the oil resources don't get much time to get renewed again.

Oil helps in many factors of household needs as well as for the technical and economical development of a country and if these resources get exhausted then many of these activities will come to a halt.

For example:

1) Cooking food, lightening the stove or the lantern.

2) Industries will be shut and the transportation facilities will come to a complete END

There are majority of areas which would get affected and it will be a major impact to entire society. Effect of it would be so widespread that one cannot take away the probability of seeing next world war if this happens. It will be a devastating effect on all economic level including poor, middle class and wealthy.

Below are the very critical items that humans rely on crude oil for
i. Energy
ii. Fuel
iii. Food (Fertilizers get some raw materials from oil)
iv. Insulation items
v. Clothing
vi. Plastic

Now imagine your life without any of this product and see the end result - Devastation. No locomotion. Humans will not be able to travel from point A to point B efficiently. Means of transport that are available without oil are extremely slow and we would head to a rock age again.
