First of all, in IELTS there no such thing like pass and fail. It's all about your requirement. Generally, for academic students, overall 6.5 and not less than 6.0 in each module is more than enough except medical professions. Still decide country first, then looks for visa requirement and college/university requirement—same valid for PR.

I think its risk for students. If you really wanted to teach than first you should improve your english skills. It is not only beneficial for students but also for you. As in teaching field, first impress is consider as last impression. If students start feeling you dont posses requried skills than it would dent your personality and may be other students not able to put a trust on you. So, my advice would be, first join any group of teachers ( there are hundred of groups on FB) from which you can improve your english and than go with full force which is more impactfull.

IELTS is not an exam. Its a system through which they are checking your knowledge in ENGLISH. So, if you have good command over this language than may be you can clear your exam in 15 days also. I have seen so many students who did that and also got desired band scores. But as I have said you should be good in English.

First of all, in IELTS there is no short-cuts and tricks. You will tricks in magical shows where you have to pull rabbit from hat. Now about if any student wants to get good band score in Reading than He/SHE must have four skills. First is Skimming, Second is Scanning, third is Close reading and Last but not least is Understanding the Question. If you are good in these skills than you will definitely achieve higher scores. Not only your accuracy but also your time management is going to improvised. One most important thing is Understand the definition of each skill thoroughly.
