Answer For being a topper, the very first thing you need is a time table which you have to follow on a regular basis without fail. You are building a foundation for your boards, be a bit ahead of your school syllabus but also do not rush. Understand the topics , get a good grip on the topics. Revise and revise because we often study topics and do not revise, which makes our initial efforts zero.

To be a topper a student has to be willing to put extra effort in their studies. Understanding each and every topic in all subjects is a prerequisite. You also have to practice them periodically (especially hard concepts) to the extent that you can't do mistakes in any questions. Afterall being a topper is about being the best in the class and amount of hardwork depends upon your competition. Basically understand every concept to its core and practice them until you feel 100% sure about it.
