Hi Fathima, Enhancing your Communication skill is as easy as you drink water every day. To start with. First - Believe you are an excellent communicator. Step 2 - To shape the body we need to do exercise every day, the same way you need to do the below-mentioned exercise every day as Vivekananda said, The first thing to do - Have your meeting with the best person in the world - That is "You" - Speak with about yourself - about your day - or anything you like to discuss with your heart in English - Let's make mistakes to learn. Step 3 - Have a Journal - It's not exactly writing a dairy - It's like documenting the good things that happened that day - in English Step 4 - As Ravi said, read story books that you like...read it aloud... you can record and listen. Step 5 - As Siddharth said, start speaking with people... additional - if you like to sing, practice songs in English this would gradually increase and reduce your MTI while communicating in English. this is the prescribed exercise for 30 days for your wonderful kick start. Hi Jatin, Happy Day. English is just a language, like your mother tongue. It is simple and easy to get the hold of the language if you practise everyday. If you are a beginner for english... i just have three words for you... Read ... Write and speak Read stort stories, start with your favourite short stories, please do not read news papers, because when you dont understand, even if you read, but your brain sleeps.. and loses the interest. this reading would help you to understand and use many words in right place. Write about your day, every day. Just like writing a dairy, write about your day in detail , dont forget to write even the minute details. This would slowly and steadily help you to express all your thoughts in right structure Speak - Don't worry, always the hero is in you, so speak within yourself every day with out any hesitation. Talk about the good things you did and happened to you on the day. this would slowly and steadily help you to speak with others. Try to speak in with the people who would encourage and speak with you in english. These three words were life transforming for me. Hope it will do the same for you. All the best.... Hi Nish, I Like your Question. If you feel you need to improve your presentation Skills, pick every opportunity to present something . And to make it a habit, everyday stand in front of mirror and pick your interesting topic and speak just for two minutes, watch your eyes. For the first week it would be funny that you would feel your face disappears, Slowly you will be able to improve your tone, expression, body language and the way you present it. Just because you are watching your own presentation.. By the mean time pick all the opportunity on your way for presentation.... in months you will be able to see the difference .... but practice every day dear. Hi Jatin, I am glad to help you, A small tip: If you are a beginner in English, please read story books and don't read news paper, because logically brain sleeps when it does not understand the statements in news paper. Just read simple stories with will help you to love the language. take care. Sena
